We’ll walk through five decisions to make before you begin seriously shopping: checking your credit, choosing a comfortable housing budget, deciding how much cash you want to use, getting pre-approved, and identifying the needs and wants that will guide your home search.

We’ll also talk about why the maximum payment you can qualify for isn’t necessarily the payment you should choose, why your down payment is only one part of your cash plan, and how a real estate agent can help turn your priorities into a realistic home search.
