Stacy broke into the real estate industry in 1993, working in sales for a reputable home builder in Austin. It was there that she earned her Texas real estate license, which she held for 10 years. She transitioned to the mortgage side of the industry upon making her move to the Fort Worth area, where she took on the role of a mortgage loan officer. Throughout her 26-year span in the real estate industry, Stacy has gained invaluable experience as a real estate agent, loan officer, account executive, underwriter, bank branch manager and owner of a mortgage brokerage firm. This wealth of experience empowers her to successfully navigate the closing process with a deep understanding of each party's role and their perspective.

Stacy is a life-learner and values the importance of continuing education. Stacy moved to Central Texas in 1998 where she saw an opportunity to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning and her Masters of Agricultural Education from Texas State University. She applied her degree to her real estate endeavors by writing courses pertinent to the real estate industry that were quickly approved by TREC for continuing education. Meanwhile, as a member of the Texas Real Estate Teachers Association (TRETA), she became a certified real estate instructor and continues to teach classes to area real estate professionals when called upon.

Stacy has been a passionate and enthusiastic leader in her community and industry associations. Stacy is a past president of the Oak Hill Business and Professional Association (OHBPA), an organization for local residents and businesses to come together to network and offer a path for young entrepreneurs. She was also a member of BNI Cornerstone, NAMB (National Association for Mortgage Brokers) and TRETA (Texas Real Estate Teachers Association). Stacy has also been very active with the national Women's Council of REALTORS® Northeast Tarrant County Chapter and served on the National Education Committee for NAMB. The WCR and Tarrant County Builders Association have both recognized Stacy as Volunteer of the Quarter and in 2005, she was the recipient of the prestigious Volunteer of the Year award from the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce.

Originally from Oregon, Stacy is a mother of 5 children, has been a Texas resident since 1986. Her two youngest children, both currently active military, came to Lakeway in 1999.
